My heart ached with remorse. My mind reeled with thoughts. My eyes sparked hatred. My hands trembled, My body weak. My soul shattered to a million blinding pieces. I lost to a familiar built of chilling darkness. I lost to a smile that spoke of curses.
I’m engulfed by pain that sears my flesh like glowing brands. I scream. Sheer bliss, it should be.
I lost once more.
And I saw that face, her lips curled in devilish grin. She held my hand and we fall. We drown.
I lost to my shadow and I’m lost.
